Denver Personal Injury Attorney

Christopher Parrish was born and raised in Alaska, where his father, three uncles and grandfather all practiced law as Parrish Law Office. After graduating with a degree in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Mr. Parrish moved to Seattle where he managed a mortgage company before deciding it was time to follow in his family’s footsteps.

Since 2013, Mr. Parrish has dedicated his practice to representing injured victims in Colorado. Prior to forming Parrish & Jennings, he practiced exclusively at Harding & Associates, PC, alongside his mentor, boss and friend, Mr. Phil Harding, Esq. In that time, Mr. Parrish successfully resolved over 350 injured client’s personal injury and wrongful death cases in Colorado. The combined recovery in those cases, including both settlements, judgments and binding arbitration awards, was over $20,000,000. Mr. Parrish is a true advocate for his clients with an impeccable track record of client outcomes and satisfaction.

Mr. Parrish’s practice specializes in pursuing cases against those responsible for causing his clients’ injuries, as well as cases against his clients’ own UM/UIM insurance carriers in cases of bad faith, breach of contract and other such “first party” claims. He represents individuals and families injured in automobile accidents, truck and semi-truck crashes, slip-and-fall cases (a.k.a. Premises Liability), and other such incidents where the injuries range from relatively minor to catastrophic or fatal.

Mr. Parrish has been a repeat guest host (“Ask the Attorney”) on Colorado’s Channel 2 live news program, Colorado’s Best. In these broadcasts, which you can find here, he offered free information to the public on a variety of issues pertaining to personal injury cases.

Mr. Parrish likes to spend his free time with his family, friends, and Chocolate Lab “Mack.” An avid golfer, you can usually find him on the weekends at the course with his family and friends.

Experience

Mr. Parrish has tried his clients’ cases in Colorado’s Federal Court, Colorado’s District Courts, and Colorado’s County Courts. He has tried these cases to both jury and judge. He routinely litigates cases in all three courts. In one such case, in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, his client was one of the many victims who were shot during the 2012 Aurora movie theatre shooting. Mr. Parrish is also licensed in the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Mr. Parrish has also litigated and argued cases to Colorado’s Court of Appeals. In one such case, his client was badly injured by a dangerous condition on a city sidewalk. The city that owned the sidewalk argued that it was not responsible, but the presiding District Court found that it was. After the city appealed, the Court of Appeals held oral arguments in support of the parties’ appeals briefing, which Mr. Parrish argued. Shortly thereafter, the Court of Appeals ruled in favor of his client. The case then settled on favorable terms for his injured client.
